At Loveland Fire Rescue Authority (LFRA), our firefighters are at the heart of everything we do. As an all-hazards emergency services agency, we respond to far more than fires. Our firefighters are trained to handle medical emergencies, technical rescues, hazardous materials incidents, wildfires, and more - service with commitment, compassion, and courage.
Whether you're committed to becoming a firefighter with LFRA or just thinking about it, we invite you to schedule a ride-along with one of our station crews to experience the impact you could have serving our community.
To be considered for employment, applicants must possess the following by the time of application:
- Completed job application (invited applicants only)
- National Testing Network (NTN) FireTEAM and Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA) Part 1
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Current CPAT certificate
- CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers or equivalent
- Current State of Colorado EMT-B OR
- Current NREMT and State of Colorado EMT-B within 3 months of hire date
- NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications
- Ability to successfully complete the Front Range Fire Consortium Academy (40-hour work week) and pass the Academy test
- Ability to work 48/96 shift post-academy
